You can easily copy bases in SeaTable. In this way, you can move one of your bases to another group or copy a base from a group to the My Bases workspace.
Copy a Base
- Switch to the SeaTable home page.
- Move the mouse over the base you want to copy.
- Click on the three dots and then on Copy.
- Select the desired group to which the Base should be copied.
- Confirm with Submit.
Note
After copying, the corresponding base is located both at the original location and at the destination location. If necessary, you can delete the base at a location afterwards.
Copy a base linked to shared data records
If you copy a base that contains shared data records, you can decide whether you want to retain the connection to these data records. The group to which you copy the base must of course have access to the shared data records.
Admin rights required
If the desired group is not displayed in the selection, this may be because you do not have sufficient authorization. Copying bases to a group requires that you are either the administrator or owner of the target group.
