New rows, which you enter in SeaTable, are always written to the normal backend of SeaTable first. You have to be active in SeaTable itself to move the desired rows to the Big Data backend.
Prerequisite
You can only move rows to the Big Data Backend if you have already enabled the Big Data Backend within Base.
rows Move to the Big Data backend

- Click the three dots in the view options.
- Select the Archive View option.
- Confirm moving all visible rows to the Big Data backend.
Tip
For example, if you want to archive old entries, you can filter the view beforehand using the Created or Last Edited column types.
The rows are then transferred to the Big Data storage. As a result, they are no longer visible in the normal view. Create a Big Data view to display data in the Big Data backend.
How can you tell if data is in the Big Data backend or not?
rowsstored in the Big Data backend have a small gray triangle in the numbering column .
Good to know:
- In a normal view, you will not see rows from the Big Data backend.
- In a Big Data view, you can see all rows regardless of where it is currently stored.
