Backend Developer* PHP / WordPress / API

Improve our website with customizations, automations, in-house developments and interfaces based on PHP. We also put the responsibility for the already existing PHP class in your hands.

Here you can help shape the future:

• With your profound WordPress and PHP knowledge you will further develop our extensive multilingual website seatable.io.
• For this purpose, you independently create new page areas, WordPress plugins and PHP scripts and maintain our self-programmed PHP interfaces.
• To optimize the interaction of SeaTable with the payment service Stripe, you will use Slim (PHP) to improve the existing Stripe webhook logics.
• Likewise, you establish new logics and processes, such as email automations depending on customer behavior and a fast CGI caching of our team management.

That makes you a good fit for the team:

• High affinity for web development, e.g. through training or studies in this field
• Several years of experience with PHP, WordPress and JavaScript; ideally also in programming WordPress plugins and REST APIs as well as in using GitHub
• Fluent written and spoken German and/or English
• Team player with strong conceptual skills, who wants to turn his creative drive into high-performance solutions and likes to explore technical terrain on his own initiative.
