In this course you will learn the basic concepts of SeaTable and expand your ability to work effectively with a no-code solution like SeaTable.
This course is suitable for you if you:
- want to work with SeaTable for the first time.
- seek additional help in creating your first base.
- want to digitize and possibly automate processes in your private or professional environment.
What will I learn in this online course?
We believe in Learning by doing. You can expect some theoretical information about the basic concepts and components of SeaTable, followed by practical exercises with step-by-step instructions on how to create a base.
By the end of this course you will know:
- How to navigate in the SeaTable interface
- How to create a new table structure
- How to create a web form to enter new data in a structured way
- How to structure your data efficiently with a link column
- How to get the perfect overview of your data with filters and views
You will learn all this by setting up a base for recording your private or professional expenses.
What do I need to get started?
The following requirements are necessary for you to complete this online course:
- SeaTable: You can use any SeaTable system. The easiest way to do this is with a free SeaTable Cloud account.
- Forum: An account in our community forum if you would like to receive a badge upon successful completion.
- Browser: We recommend Google Chrome.
- English: The course is available in several languages, but the final quiz, the screenshots and the sample data used are in English.
How long does the course last?
The course should take about one hour to complete. You do not have to complete the course in one go. Feel free to take breaks and continue when you are ready.
How can I complete the course?
In the end, it's up to you what knowledge and skills you take away from this online course. If you follow the step-by-step instructions, you will gain a solid basic knowledge of SeaTable.
At the end of this course you will have the opportunity to test your newly acquired knowledge in a quiz:
- The quiz consists of a mixture of multiple-choice and base questions, which you will build up over the course of the tutorial.
- If you pass this successfully, you will receive a badge for your forum profile. This badge will then be visible every time you reply in the forum and will make your skills clear to all other users.
