Without the Big Data Backend activated, only a maximum of 100,000 rows can be recorded in a Base. As soon as you activate the Big Data Backend in a base, the previous row limit is removed and you can store unlimited data in a base. Learn how to enable the Big Data Backend in this article.
Activate the Big Data backend in a Base
- Open any Base in which you want to enable the Big Data backend.
- In the Base header, click the three dots in the upper right corner.
- Select the Big Data Management option.
- Click Activate Big Data Function.
Designation as archive backend
In the beginning, the Big Data Backend was still called Archive Backend. It may be that this term still appears in the forum or in old blog posts, but it always refers to the Big Data Backend.
